Deeply bolstered front buckets are the hardest seats to cover well. The side wings pull fabric in two directions at once, and a cover cut flat either bridges the hollow or drags off the wing within a week. Size 30/35 is the supplier's pattern for exactly that shape — seats with extra bolstering and extra depth.
Sizing 30/35 when no tape figure exists
30/35 is a code in the supplier's own range, and it is worth being blunt about the gap: not one measurement for it appears in any of the product data, so nobody can quote you a width or a backrest height. That leaves the comparison with you. Look at how far your bolsters stand proud of the cushion, how deep the base is front to back, and how the product photographs sit against that. The velcro tie system takes up a degree of slack, but it will not rescue a seat that is a different shape.
Where the pockets and the piping sit
Panels are 5 mm density neoprene rubber (polychloroprene) over a heavy duty double knitted polyester backing. Carbon PVC side panels take the rub along the outer wing, with colour contrast piping in blue tracing the seams. Storage is split: a map pocket across the back of each seat for the rear passenger, and utility pockets on the front face. The supplier lists the covers as machine washable.
Key features
- Cut for bolstered buckets: the 30/35 pattern is written for seats with pronounced wings and a deep base.
- 5 mm neoprene: the stated panel stock, over a knitted polyester backing.
- Carbon PVC wings: the panels that catch a hip on every entry are the harder-wearing ones.
- Velcro fixing: tensioned by hand, with no tools and no permanent fitting.
- Two kinds of pocket: a rear map pocket and utility pockets on the front.

Airbags in a bolstered front seat
- On a great many modern cars the front seat's side airbag is built into the outboard wing, the edge closest to the door, and exits through a seam sewn deliberately weak so it tears open in the right place.
- There is no named test regime behind this product: the data lists neither an assessing standard nor the body that would have signed one off.
- Have the supplier confirm the position in writing, or get a motor trimmer to inspect the seat, before covering a bucket of that type.
- Keep the seat's airbag warning tag in plain sight once the cover is on.
Measure first, then order — the size code is doing all the work here, and it is the one thing the supplier has left undefined.
