Set the number, then let it stop itself

Four presets cover bicycles, motorcycles, cars and balls, with a manual mode for everything that does not fit those. Pick a target, connect the hose, and the automatic cut-off ends the job rather than leaving you crouched over a gauge. The digital display is quoted at plus or minus 0.5 PSI, which is accurate enough to set a full set of tyres properly. What the pressure figure does and does not tell you

The supplier gives a pressure range of 0-12 bar and stops there. It appears here in the unit they used, unconverted, because shuffling a maximum between PSI, bar and kPa is how rounding errors end up in a tyre. What they do not say is whether 12 bar is a continuous working pressure or a peak the pump touches briefly. Read it as an upper limit rather than a duty rating, and set your tyres from the placard on the door jamb — no car on the road wants anything near 12 bar.

Charging and running time

The pack holds 5000 mAh and recharges over USB Type-C in about 2.5 hours from a 5 V 2 A supply. The supplier quotes 20-30 minutes of continuous running, and separately claims eight car tyres from a single charge; both figures are theirs. A USB-A output turns the same pack into a phone charger. Before you use it

• The supplier does not name the cell chemistry. Whatever is inside, a rechargeable pack this size should not be left charging unattended, and should not live in a car parked in the sun.
• Set pressures from your vehicle's tyre placard, not from what the pump is capable of. Check them cold, before driving.
• Twenty to thirty minutes is the continuous run time the supplier gives. Let it rest between tyres rather than pushing past that.
• No 12 V vehicle lead is listed in the pack — charging is over USB only, so keep it topped up rather than discovering it flat.
