At 16 by 14.3 by 8.5 centimetres this bin is small enough that emptying it is a weekly job rather than a monthly one, and that is the honest way to think about it. Tissues, wrappers and receipts go in under a push-to-open lid that springs shut on its own, which is the part that matters when one hand is on the wheel and you would rather not be looking down.
The lid does the work
Press the lid and it opens; let go and it rebounds closed. That single mechanism is what keeps the contents out of sight and, the supplier says, keeps the smell in with them. It is also what makes the bin usable one-handed, and the reason it can sit somewhere you can reach without leaning across the cabin. The supplier's own word for it is one-touch, and the claim attached is that the lid comes back to closed by itself rather than needing to be pushed back, which is the difference between a bin that gets used and one that sits open in the footwell.
Emptying it, and what you empty it into
No liners come with the bin and no liner size is published, so the routine is either tipping the contents straight into a bag or working out for yourself what bin bag fits a container this shape. Nothing is said about whether it can go in a dishwasher either. What ships is a single mini car bin in black ABS, and everything about keeping it clean after that is left to you.
Key features
- Push-to-open lid: one press opens it and it rebounds shut without a second action.
- ABS shell: the listed material, described as durable and resistant to wear and to liquid spills.
- Contained odours: the snap-back lid is credited with keeping smells inside rather than in the cabin.
- Doubles as a box: the supplier offers keys, snacks, tissues and pet supplies as alternative contents.
- Compact footprint: 16cm on its longest side, which is the point of it in a footwell.
- Black finish: the specification lists black, which sits quietly against most interior trim.
- Works off the car too: the same bin is pitched for a desk at home or in an office.

Claims that do not fully line up
- Waterproof and resistant are both used of the same plastic. The prose calls the ABS waterproof, the feature line immediately qualifies it as resistant to wear and liquid spills, and the specification quotes no waterproof or ingress rating at all. Spill-resistant is the weaker of those readings and the one to plan around.
- How it attaches is never resolved. The body has it attaching to a back seat, a console or a car door and lists installation as hanging, but no hook, strap, clip or adhesive pad appears in the pack and nothing says what it hangs from. The instruction to clean the surface first for a firmer hold implies an adhesive that is not listed.
- No capacity in litres is given for a bin, and no weight limit for its second life as a storage box.
- One feature line calls the finish matte black while the specification says only black, with no finish named. They are not the same statement.
- Dimensions are metric only, with no imperial conversion anywhere.
- The supplier asks you to keep it away from high heat and long spells of direct sunlight, and to expect slight dimensional variation because the measurements were taken by hand. A parked car in an Australian summer is exactly the condition that warning describes, so give some thought to where it lives.
It is the small, lidded, self-closing answer for a car that generates rubbish faster than it generates places to put it.
