A dirt bike is easy to push up a plank, right until the plank moves. This single folding ramp gives 230 cm of run from the ground to a tray, a non-slip surface, and a strap to anchor the top end.

Load at the ends, nothing propping the middle

Ramps with a prop under the centre create a problem that only shows itself mid-load. As the bike climbs past the midpoint the prop takes the weight, the bottom end lifts clear of the ground, and the geometry pinning the ramp against the tray vanishes. The ramp can then flick backwards with the front wheel still up top. Nothing props the centre here, so the bottom keeps pressing into the ground for the whole climb.

Thicker rails and a surface that grips

Thicker alloy sections are why this ramp weighs more than a bargain-bin item, and why it does not turn into a diving board under a heavy bike. The tread is non-slip instead of bare polished metal, which counts on a wet morning when a boot lands beside the wheel. Folded, it packs to roughly half its 230 cm length. The supplied strap stops the ramp creeping as weight transfers.
