Rust and tank sediment will wreck an injection pump or block a carburettor jet long before anything else in a fuel system starts to give trouble. An inline filter catches that debris, and one built around a cleanable stainless element does the job without turning into a recurring parts bill.
Ten micron, stainless, and washable
The element is stainless steel rated at 10 micron, and the supplier states it captures contaminant particles of 10 micron and above. Because the element is metal rather than paper, it comes apart to be washed instead of thrown away, and the housing is explicitly designed to be removable so the element can be cleaned or replaced at regular intervals. The can is aluminium alloy, and O-rings seal both the fittings and the end caps. Over the life of a vehicle that converts a consumable into a bench job with a solvent bath.
Adapters for three AN sizes
Rather than being fixed to one line size, the filter is supplied with AN6, AN8 and AN10 adapters, so it plumbs into whatever the rest of the system already runs. A mounting bracket with a 50 mm clamp is included for fixing it to a rail or a firewall. Fitment here is a plumbing question rather than a vehicle question: what matters is the AN size of your lines and whether there is room to mount the can, not the badge on the bonnet. The supplier does not state how many of each adapter is supplied.
Flow direction is not optional
The supplier is specific about assembly and it pays to follow it exactly. The closed end of the filter element docks with the spring, and the liquid must flow in the direction of the arrow, from the spring end through to the other end. Assembled backwards, the element can unseat and pass debris straight through. The supplier states the direction is checked before dispatch, but the housing has to come apart every time the element is cleaned, and that is precisely when it gets put back together the wrong way round.
Key features

- AN6, AN8 and AN10 adapters: plumbs into three common line sizes.
- Aluminium alloy can: with O-rings sealing fittings and end caps.
- Bracket with 50 mm clamp: a mounting point supplied rather than improvised.

Read this before it goes into a fuel line
- No maximum working pressure is published for this filter anywhere in the supplier data. That is a serious gap for a component plumbed into a fuel line, and it is why nothing here describes it as suitable for high-pressure or EFI use. If your system runs at pump pressure rather than a low-pressure carburettor feed, get a pressure figure from the supplier before fitting it.
- The fuels the supplier names are petrol and diesel, with E85 explicitly excluded. No other fuel is covered by anything published — not methanol, not ethanol blends beyond ordinary pump petrol, not racing fuels.
- Fuel systems stay pressurised with the engine off. Depressurise before opening a line, and pressure-test every joint for leaks before starting the engine.
- Choosing hose, clamps, sealants and mounting position, and confirming the finished installation is safe, is the installer's responsibility. Fuel dripping onto a hot engine is a fire.
A serviceable filter with the adapters to plumb it in — settle the pressure question first.
