Draining a sump into a shallow tray works right up until the tray has to be carried. Eight litres of hot black oil, an open top and a walk across a workshop is how concrete gets permanently marked. A wheeled drainer takes the oil straight into a sealed 80 litre tank, then pushes it out again under shop air.
The funnel catches, the tank carries
A 10 litre pan sits on a telescopic column winding from 98 cm to 165 cm on a quick-adjustment clamp, so one unit goes under a hoist, a ramped ute or a low sedan. Pan depth is the point: oil has somewhere to sit while the sump is still dribbling, rather than pooling to the rim. Two 3 inch swivel castors and two 5 inch fixed wheels do the moving.
Emptying it is an air line job
Connect shop air at the quarter-inch NPT inlet and pressure pushes the contents out through the 1.5 metre hose into a bulk drum. Working pressure sits between 1 and 2.5 bar against a supplier maximum of 3 bar, held by a fixed inlet regulator and a relief valve. The in-line ball valve closes fast, which is the difference between filling a drum and overfilling one.

- 10 litre funnel pan: deep enough to keep draining unattended.

What's in the box
- 1 x 80 L mobile waste oil drainer
- 1 x 10 L oil collection pan
- 2 x 3 inch swivel castor wheels
- 2 x 5 inch fixed wheels
- 1 x lift rod
- 1 x 1.5 m oil pipe
- 1 x ball valve switch
Before you use it
- Assembly is required before first use.
- Do not exceed the supplier's stated maximum of 3 bar (45 psi). The tank is a pressure vessel when charged with air, and the relief valve must be left free to vent.
- Oil drained straight after a run is hot. The supplier states the drain tube withstands high temperatures; skin does not.
- Dispose of waste oil through a licensed collection point, never to stormwater or ground.
Sized for a busy home workshop or a small service bay, where tank capacity decides how often someone makes the trip.
