A phone mount on a work ute has to survive corrugations, gravel, tailgate slams and a closed cab at forty degrees. The RLX10 goes at that with a four-layer nano-gel cup, folding metal arms and 22 magnets in the head, and it ships with a small tool kit.

A cup you can wash and reuse

Most suction mounts are disposable in practice: dust works under the gel, grip fades, and the mount goes in the bin. The four-layer gel face here is meant to be rinsed and dried, and the supplier says it recovers about 99 per cent of its hold afterwards, over 200-plus reattachments. The rotating lock is quoted at around 45 per cent more grip than a press-on cup, holding up to 78 lb (about 35 kg).

Twenty-two magnets, and arms that fold away

The head carries 22 N55 magnets for a stated 2400 gf of pull, and the supplier notes the layout is arranged so it does not disturb phone signal for navigation or calls. The base rotates a full 360 degrees while the twin folding arms add 210 degrees of dual-axis movement. Folded, the mount takes up roughly half the space, which counts on a dash already carrying a UHF and a dash cam.
