Ground-in mud in a floor mat does not come out with a cloth. Neither does the grime that cakes into the face of a wheel hub, or the grit that packs down the seam where a seat back meets the base. This is a stiff-bristled scrub brush sized for exactly those jobs — narrow enough to work a crevice, long enough to keep your knuckles out of it.
Stiff polypropylene, and what that means in use
The bristles are polypropylene, described by the supplier as wear-resistant. The point of a PP bristle in a scrubbing brush is that it stays stiff under pressure: a softer fibre folds over after a few passes and stops biting into the dirt, while these keep cutting the same way through a whole mat. The handle is moulded plastic, solid enough to lean on. Nothing has been published about bristle diameter or stiffness grade beyond the word "stiff", so work out how aggressive it is on an out-of-sight patch before you commit to a whole surface.
Sized for crevices, not for panels
The head measures 2.6 inches across and 1.8 inches deep — near enough to 66 mm by 46 mm — on a total length of 8.5 inches, roughly 216 mm. That combination is what makes it useful. The head is slim enough to run down a seat seam or in between the spokes of a hub, and the handle is long enough that your hand stays out of whatever you are scrubbing. A hole through the end of the handle means it hangs on a hook instead of sitting wet in the bottom of a bucket.
Key features
- Stiff PP bristles: hold their shape under load rather than splaying out after the first few strokes.
- Moulded plastic handle: takes real pressure when a patch will not shift.
- Hang hole in the handle: dries off a hook instead of sitting damp in the bucket.
- One-hand size: reaches seat crevices and hub faces that a full-size wash brush cannot.

Where the supplier says to use it
- Named by the supplier: car carpet and floor mats, seat crevices, upholstery, tyres and wheel hubs, plus home carpet and furniture upholstery.
- Nothing in the supplier's data says these bristles are safe on paint, clear coat, wraps, alloy wheel finishes, chrome or interior screens. Treat them as unsuitable on all of those.
- A stiff bristle can mark a soft or delicate surface. Test on a hidden section first, and let the brush do the work rather than pressing harder.
Rinse it out after a dirty job and hang it up. That is the whole maintenance routine.
