In other words the headline 900 kg belongs to the hydraulic ram, not to the winch — a load between 800 and 900 kg is a pump job. The boom lock positions are quoted only in imperial, at 1000 lbs and 2000 lbs, with no metric equivalent given and no stated relationship to the other three figures. Match the figure to the mechanism you are actually using.

Sized to leave the tray usable

Footprint is what decides whether a tray crane earns its place. Read this before the first lift

• Do not treat 900 kg as the winch rating. The winch is rated to 450 kg single line and 800 kg double line; only the hydraulic pump is rated to 900 kg.
• Nobody under a suspended load, and nothing lifted over a person. Keep bystanders outside the swing of the boom.
• Where the crane is used to raise part of a vehicle, it lifts only. Support the vehicle on rated stands before anyone works underneath.
• At 61 kg plus its rated load, the mounting point matters more than the crane. Check the tray, deck or dock structure and its own load rating before bolting down.
