Resolution that survives being zoomed into

1080p looks fine until you pause it and try to read a plate three cars ahead. The front sensor records 3840 x 2160 across a 170-degree field, leaving enough pixels to crop into before the image breaks up. The rear runs 2560 x 1440 at 150 degrees.

GPS and driver alerts in the same unit

The built-in GPS module stamps location, route and speed against the video, which is the part an insurer or fleet manager tends to ask for. The driver assistance system watches lane markings and closing distance, giving a lane departure warning and a forward collision alert. Both are warnings to the driver, not automatic braking.
