Before you connect it

• Confirm whether your vehicle runs a 12 V or a 24 V system before connecting, and follow the connection sequence in the supplied manual.
• Keep the unit inside its stated -20 °C to 60 °C range; a dashboard in a Queensland summer will exceed the upper end.
• Charge it periodically. The supplier claims nine to twelve months of standby, but a jump starter left flat is just a paperweight.
