Seven places to land a wire, on a bar 4.2 inches long or 106.7 millimetres: two #10 studs, tagged M5 by the supplier, and five #8 screws tagged M4. Two plus five is the count in the title, in the feature line and in the packing line, and all three agree. A distribution block is rarely the costly part of a multi-feed circuit, yet every feed in that circuit has to cross it.
The voltage the title does not carry
The specification line in the description reads 48 volts DC and 300 volts AC maximum operating voltage, with 120 amps maximum continuous. Title and search listing alike say 12V instead. We print the description's own numbers here, and flag rather than resolve the disagreement: a part labelled for 12 volts whose own specification reaches 300 volts AC is a conflict this listing never reconciles.
Brass bar on an ABS base
The bar is nickel-plated brass and the base beneath it is heavy ABS, which the supplier calls mechanically strong, insulated, heat resistant and flame resistant. Read those last two as adjectives rather than grades. No flammability class is quoted to support flame resistant, and heat resistant arrives with no temperature attached to it.
Imperial threads with metric labels
The studs are #10 and the screws #8, each tagged with a metric partner by the supplier. Those pairings are trade convention rather than equality: a #10 measures 4.83 millimetres against M5, and a #8 measures 4.17 against M4. Ring terminals bought on the metric number will generally go on, but it is worth checking one before you buy a bag. No cable size or lug size is specified anywhere.
Key features
- Seven landing points: two studs and five screws on a single bar, so accessory feeds stop stacking on the battery post.
- 120 A continuous: the supplier's maximum continuous amperage for the block.
- Two terminal sizes: heavier feeds go to the #10 studs, lighter ones to the #8 screws.
- Nickel-plated brass bar: brass for conduction with plating over it.
- ABS base: the insulating body the bar sits on, described as heavy and mechanically strong.
- Short footprint: 4.2 inches of bar to find room for behind a panel or under a seat.

Fine print for the install
- Both title and search listing say 12V; the description says 48V DC and 300V AC. The description's figures are the ones above.
- Neither the studs nor the terminal screws arrive with a tightening torque, on a block rated to 120 amps.
- Flame resistant is claimed with no flammability class behind it, and heat resistant with no temperature.
- Short-circuit rating, interrupt rating and ingress rating are all missing, and fusing the feeds that leave the block is never raised.
- Colour goes unnamed throughout the description; black is a title-only word on this listing.
- The name of the plating metal is stored with its final two letters the wrong way round. That is a transposition; nickel is the correct spelling, and that spelling is what we have used above.
- The feature line reads studs, two spaces, nut. A connector was lost there with both spaces left behind, which is a gap and not a fusion. Because the lost character cannot be recovered, no separate nut count is published.
- Safety warnings and installation steps are both wholly absent from the description.
This is the part that turns a battery post crowded with piggy-backed rings into one tidy fan-out, and the protection of everything leaving it stays a decision the description never touches.
