What the pressure figure does and doesn't tell you

Pump pressure is quoted as 1.0 MPa. The supplier does not say whether that is a working figure or a maximum measured at zero flow, so treat it as a headline number rather than output at the nozzle. This is a wash pump, not a mains pressure unit. A rotary valve adjusts output through an 8 mm outlet, and the supplier states an automatic cut-off that shuts the pump down when current exceeds its load.
