Red trim on a wheel is a deliberate choice, not an accident, and this is the cheapest way to make it. Before the colour matters, one number does: the cover suits rims of 37 to 38 centimetres. Outside that band it either will not go on at all, or it will never sit tight enough to stay put.
Thirty-seven to thirty-eight centimetres
A narrower band than many covers quote, and worth noticing for that reason. Measure straight across the outer edge of your own rim before ordering — not the boss, not the inside of the grip, the full outside diameter. If the tape reads 39 or 40, this is not the cover for that car. No other compatibility detail is published: no vehicle list, no model years, nothing about thumb grips or flat-bottomed wheels. The measurement carries the whole decision.
What the title says about fitting, and what the specification does not
The listing title mentions a needle and thread, which points to a lace-on cover stitched into place around the rim. The supplier's specification says only "quick and easy fitting" and lists no pack contents at all. Those two accounts do not agree, and because nothing is published either way, no promise is made here that a needle or thread is included. Worth asking before ordering if that is the deciding factor.
Key features
- 37 to 38 cm: the sole compatibility figure the supplier gives.
- Smooth microfibre leather: a soft face laid over the original rim.
- Red: the only finish here, with no alternative to select.
- Seasonal buffer: a layer between skin and a rim that has sat in frost or full sun.
- Keeps wear off the original: the factory wheel underneath stays as it was.

Before you drive with it on
- The finished fit has to be tight enough that the cover cannot rotate on the rim. Try to twist it by hand — any movement at all means it does not belong on that wheel.
- Something that turns independently of the wheel is dangerous, because your hands lose their reference to where the wheel actually sits.
- If it laces on, draw the lacing up evenly and finish it where your hands do not rest. A loose lace can snag a finger.
- Leave the middle of the wheel uncovered. The airbag and the horn are behind it.
- The supplier says the cover improves grip. No figure or test supports that, so the claim is not repeated on this page.
A red rim for the price of a tank of fuel, provided the tape measure reads 37 or 38.
