Butyl on its own handles vibration, but it does little about airborne noise coming up through the floor pan — exhaust drone, tyre roar, gearbox whine. That needs a soft decoupling layer as well as mass. This mat stacks both into one peel-and-stick sheet.

At 200 mil, or 5.1 mm, this is the thickest deadener in the range. VEVOR describes the build as an 80 mil butyl rubber layer with a heat-resistant aluminium foil face, 120 mil of high-density foam and an adhesive backing. The butyl adds mass so the panel stops resonating; the foam sits on top as a soft layer that absorbs and decouples rather than transmits.

Thicker sheets, less area per pack

Extra depth costs coverage. The pack holds up to 24 sheets at roughly 24.8 × 39.1 cm each, totalling up to 2.3 m², so it is generally spent on the floor pan, transmission tunnel, firewall and rear wheel arches. At 5.1 mm it sits proud of the metal, so check clearance under carpet, trim and seat rails first.
