Sunscreen, sweat and a car that lives on a driveway

The chemistry is not obvious until you see it. Sunscreen and insect repellent transfer off skin onto fabric and slowly break down the fibres and the dye; add perspiration on a summer commute and the driver's seat ages at a different rate to everything else in the car.
