Getting a quad or a dirt bike into a ute tray usually involves a plank, a mate and a certain amount of hope. A folding ramp removes two of those three, and stores at 116 cm with the strap still attached.

Folded, the ramp measures 116 cm and weighs 8 kg. Light enough to lift down from a tray one-handed, which is the point of aluminium over steel. A carry handle is built in, and a hook strap holds the halves shut while you walk with it. A rigid one-piece ramp ends up living in the tray because there is nowhere else for it.

A perforated deck, not a smooth plate

The loading surface is perforated rather than flat, so a knobbly tyre has something to key into and mud falls through instead of sitting on the deck. Non-slip loading points hold the ramp against the tray lip while the bike is moving up it, the moment a ramp shifting a few centimetres becomes a problem. A securing strap comes with it for that job.
