Low-slung gear is what defeats a short ramp. A tracked machine or a long-wheelbase mower will belly out on a steep run before its wheels ever reach the deck, and length is the only real fix. At 3.8 m these Bullet Pro ramps lay a much shallower incline, with a loading height rated by the supplier at up to 80cm.

Length buys you angle

Geometry does the work here. Spreading an 80cm climb over 3.8 m of ramp produces a far gentler gradient than the same climb over a two-metre plank, which is the difference between a tracked machine walking up cleanly and one that noses into the bottom rung. The deck is 44cm wide, giving a wheel or a track room to sit centred rather than hanging a shoulder over the rail. For taller decks the supplier quotes 98cm as the ceiling on high clearance vehicles.

Capacity is published two ways: 2000kg per ramp and 4000kg for the pair, both figures straight from the supplier with neither converted nor combined by us. What deserves equal attention is the mass of the ramps themselves. Each one weighs 40kg, 80kg for the pair, with cartons at 42kg apiece. The supplier's own copy calls this a lightweight build, which at 40kg per ramp is not a description most people would recognise. Treat setting up and packing away as a two-person job, or use a trolley.
