P13.5S DC6V-24V/3-12V LED Upgrade Lights White Maglite Flashlight 3-12v white

The stock globe in an old torch drinks batteries and throws a yellowish puddle rather than a usable beam. This LED uses the P13.5S base found in Maglite-style torches, so a torch already in the toolbox gets a whiter output and longer runtime from the same set of cells.

A 3 W LED where the filament was

Rated by the supplier at 3 W and 200-210 lumens, it makes light by driving a semiconductor instead of heating a wire, and that is where the runtime gain comes from — a filament spends most of its energy as heat, an LED does not. The supplier lists two voltage ranges for it, 6-24 V and 3-12 V, without saying which applies to which version, so match it against the cell count in your torch before ordering. It is an aftermarket replacement globe, not a genuine Maglite part.

Small enough to disappear into the head

The globe measures roughly 23 mm long and 9 mm across, and weighs about 5 g on the supplier's shipping figure, so it sits in the reflector where the original did without packing or spacers. A globe sitting proud of the focal point throws a ring instead of a beam, and a torch reflector has nothing to adjust. One globe is supplied per pack, despite the plural in the listing title.
