One pair, two supply voltages

The wiring is what makes this pair useful across a mixed fleet. The supplier's instruction is to use the black and white wires for a 12 V supply and the black and red wires for 24 V, so the same lamp goes on a ute or on a truck or piece of plant without a converter. One caution on that: the supplier also calls the black wire the positive pole, which is the opposite of the usual convention. Check polarity with a multimeter before you connect anything, because reversed polarity is the fastest way to kill an LED lamp.
