Backing a trailer down a dark track, or working on a machine at the end of a long day, the standard reversing lamps give you about two metres of useful light and a lot of shadow. A pair of small spot bars on the back of a ute tray or a tipper changes that job completely, and they are compact enough to mount where a full-width bar would never go.

Throw, not spread

These are spot beam units, so the output is concentrated down the track rather than washed across the foreground. A spot is what you want to pick out the end of a paddock, a gate post or a load line at distance. If you are after a broad pool of light immediately around the vehicle, a flood pattern is the better tool and these are not it.

Before you fit these
