A forklift moves pallets. The moment the load is a pump on a skid or a bundle of pipe that needs to hang, forks are the wrong tool. This attachment slides over the forks and gives you a swivelling hook instead — no crane hire, no rigging the load onto a pallet that was never made for it.
The two capacity figures on this listing do not agree
This needs saying plainly rather than buried. The product title advertises 6000 lb. The supplier's own description, in a section headed 4,400 lb Load Capacity, states the hook allows you to lift loads up to 4400 lbs. Those are two different ratings for the same item and they cannot be reconciled from the information supplied, so both appear here labelled for what they are: 6000 lb is the title figure, 4400 lb is the figure in the supplier's product text. Confirm the rating in writing before you plan a lift, and work to the lower figure until you have.
Slides over the forks, clamps with T-screws
Fitting takes a minute and no tools beyond your hands. The frame uses a double-fork design with pockets that drop over both pallet forks, then T-screws wind down to clamp it so it cannot walk forward under a swinging load. Because the pockets are not fixed to one spot, the hook can be positioned anywhere along the fork length to suit the load and the carriage width. The hook itself swivels a full 360 degrees with no stop, so a load can be turned to line up with a doorway or a truck bed, and a safety latch closes the throat so slings cannot jump off.
Key features
- Two conflicting ratings: 6000 lb in the title, 4400 lb in the supplier's description — both published here, neither confirmed.
- Double-fork pockets: load spreads across both forks rather than hanging off one tine.
- T-screw clamps: hand-tightened, so the frame cannot creep forward when a load swings.
- 360-degree swivel hook: no rotation stop, so a load can be turned to line up with the opening it has to go through.
- Safety latch: closes the hook throat and keeps slings and chains seated.
- Powder-coated carbon steel: a coated finish holds up better than bare steel in a yard or wash-down area.

Check these before you hook up a load
- Two capacity figures are published for this item and they conflict. Work to 4400 lb, the lower of the two, until the supplier confirms a rating in writing.
- Hanging a load from a hook moves the load centre forward and downward compared with a pallet on the forks. Check your machine's own load chart — the truck's rating, not the hook's, is usually what limits the lift.
- Never lift or carry people on a forklift attachment, and keep everyone clear of a suspended load.
- Fork pocket dimensions are not published. Measure your forks before ordering, and make sure the T-screws clamp down hard onto them before the first lift.
- No standard, certification or test rating is named by the supplier for this attachment.
A simple way to turn a forklift into a pick-and-place machine for awkward loads. Settle the capacity question with the supplier, check it against your truck's load chart, and rig from there.
