Engine Leveler Balancer 907kg Load Shop Crane Hoist Chain Lift Loading Leveller

Pulling an engine is almost never a straight vertical lift. The block hangs nose down, the bellhousing fouls the firewall, and someone ends up shoving the load about by hand while the crane holds the weight. A leveller sits between hook and chains so one person can change that angle with a handle.

Winding the handle instead of shifting the chains

Adjustment is a threaded shaft turned by a crank handle at the end of the beam. Winding it walks the lifting point along the beam while the engine stays in the air, so the angle changes under control rather than in a lurch. That counts at the two pinch points of any removal: clearing the firewall on the way up, and lining the input shaft up with the clutch on the way back down. Total travel is 315 mm.

Rated to 907 kg, and what your crane needs to be

The rating is 907 kg (2,000 lb), and the supplier specifies shop cranes rated to at least 1,000 kg. That gap is deliberate: the leveller and its chains add their own mass and change how the load hangs off the boom, so the crane needs headroom above the leveller's figure. Treat 907 kg as a ceiling, not a target. Three chain mount positions let you set the geometry before the load leaves the ground, and both chains finish in a safety hook.
