Plumbing a boost or vacuum gauge usually stalls at the same place: nowhere sensible to pick up pressure from a silicone hose. This fitting mounts a threaded nipple straight through the hose wall, giving the gauge line a proper anchored take-off point instead of a spliced-in compromise.

A take-off point that seals properly

Fitting is a drilling job, not a fabrication one. Drill an 8 mm hole in the silicone boost pipe, push the nipple through from the inside, fit the sealing O-ring and washer, then tighten the nut. Clamping the hose wall that way is what keeps the joint sealed and stops the fitting working loose under boost and engine movement.

Aluminium alloy for a hot, shaking place

Aluminium alloy resists corrosion and holds its thread through heat cycling and constant vibration. The nipple takes 4 mm inner diameter tubing, so match your gauge line to that before ordering. Anything needing a vacuum or boost signal can run from it, a boost gauge being the usual reason.
