The exhaust supplied with a budget diesel heater is usually about a metre of thin pipe, enough to clear a canopy wall and no further. Three metres gives you the length to route the outlet properly, well away from where anyone sleeps.
Three metres of routing freedom
Length is the whole point of this kit. A 3000 mm pipe lets the outlet finish clear of doors, windows and vents, and lets the run take the bends needed to get there rather than the shortest line through the floor. The corrugated stainless wall bends by hand and holds its shape, so it works around a chassis rail or a water tank without a pipe bender.
Key features
- 3000 mm length: terminates the exhaust away from vents and sleeping space.
- 25 mm bore: matches common 2 kW to 8 kW parking heater outlets.
- Hand-bendable corrugation: takes angles a fixed pipe cannot.
- Two clamps supplied: the fasteners are in the packet.

Fitting and safety
- This is an exhaust pipe, not a fuel line. Part of the supplier's wording refers to a fuel tank vent hose; do not use it to carry fuel.
- Diesel parking heaters produce carbon monoxide. The exhaust must terminate outside the vehicle or cabin, clear of doors, windows and vents, and be installed exactly as the heater manufacturer instructs. A working CO alarm in any sleeping space is a sensible precaution.
- Check the whole run for leaks after fitting and again after the first few hours of use. Clamps loosen as the pipe heats and cools.
- The pipe runs hot enough to burn. Keep it clear of fuel lines, tyres, bedding and wiring, and shield it where it passes close to them.
- Support the pipe along its length. Three metres of unsupported corrugated pipe will fatigue and crack at the heater flange.
Measure your heater's exhaust spigot before ordering, since this suits a 25 mm outlet.
