Punctures on a trailer, a ride-on or a farm bike rarely happen anywhere convenient, and hauling a wheel off and into town over one nail is a poor use of a Saturday. This kit is the shed answer: rubber plugs that wind straight into the tread with the screwdriver supplied, no rim removal, no rasp, no sticky rope.
Check the quantity before you order
The listing is contradictory on how many plugs arrive. The product title states 10Set, while the supplier's own description text says the kit includes 20 tyre repair nails. Both figures are published here exactly as given rather than averaged into a number nobody stated. If the count matters to you, ask before ordering. What is consistent across both is that the two plug sizes and the storage box with screwdriver are supplied either way.
Two sizes, an iron core and a coarse thread
In metric the small plug works out at 5.3 x 11.7 mm and the large one at 6.9 x 12.7 mm; the supplier lists them as 0.21 by 0.46 and 0.27 by 0.5 inches. Rubber is moulded around an iron core so the plug can be driven through tread without buckling, and the thread is cut thick to bite. The supplier's stated logic is that deeper thread means more grip between plug and tyre, giving a tighter seal against air loss.
Key features
- Screwdriver in the box: the only tool the repair calls for, packed with the plugs.
- Fine and coarse plugs: two diameters so the plug can suit the damage.
- Iron-cored rubber: stiff enough to drive, soft enough to fill.
- Hard case: lives in a toolbox or under a seat without spilling.
- Tubeless tyres: listed by the supplier for cars, motorcycles, electric and mountain bikes, trucks and agricultural tyres.

Before you fit these
- This is a temporary repair to get a vehicle moving. It is not a workshop repair and does not restore the tyre.
- The supplier's wording about exceptional wear resistance and withstanding rugged road conditions is its own claim, unsupported by any published test or rating.
- A qualified tyre fitter should assess the casing before the wheel returns to everyday use, and their call on whether it is still serviceable is the one that counts.
- Until then, drive gently and keep the load light.
Small enough to keep one kit in the ute and another on the workbench.
