Most diesel heaters arrive with just enough ducting to clear the mounting board, which leaves the warm air pooling in one corner of the van. This kit adds a tee, two vents and two extendable hoses, so one heater can feed the living area and the sleeping end.
Extendable to 700 mm, and honest about it
Each outlet duct stretches from 600 to 700 mm, which says plainly what this set is for: moving air around a compact conversion, not running the length of a bus. The hose is 76 mm (3 inch) across, a light-resistant black film over a high-temperature aluminium foil core, so it holds shape against outlet heat instead of going brittle.
Stainless where the heat is
The exhaust pipe is stainless steel, 595 to 600 mm long and 25 mm (1 inch) across. That matters because condensation forms inside every heater exhaust as it cools, and mild steel rusts through from the inside out.
Key features
- Tee connector and two vents: split one outlet across two areas of the build.
- 600-700 mm adjustable ducts: trim the run without cutting anything.
- Foil-lined 76 mm hose: handles outlet temperatures without hardening.
- Fits 2 kW, 5 kW and 8 kW heaters: split type and all-in-one alike.

Before you route the exhaust
- The exhaust pipe carries carbon monoxide. It must terminate outside the cabin, clear of vents and openings, with every clamp tight and no section run inside a living or sleeping space.
- A 600 mm exhaust is short. Check it will actually reach from your heater's mounting position to a safe outside termination before you commit to the layout.
- Keep the exhaust away from fuel lines, wiring and upholstery, and check the clamps again after the first few hours of running.
A tidy way to finish a heater install in a van, caravan or boat.
