EVA is a closed-cell material that holds an edge. The supplier's argument for it is that a plug has to stay rigid enough to bridge the gap while still yielding against stitching and leather. • Keep the tray for light items. The supplier caps it at 200 g and warns against bottles, tools and anything metal that could shift under braking.
