The roof of a dual-cab is the panel that never gets washed properly, because reaching the middle of it means standing on a tyre or accepting a dirty stripe down the centre. This brush telescopes out to 115 cm and carries two chenille mop heads that swivel through 360 degrees.
Reach without the step ladder
The handle collapses to 50 cm for storage and draws out to 115 cm, which covers the roof and windscreen of most wagons and utes from ground level. It is built around an alloy tube with PP connectors and weighs about 0.35 kg — light enough that holding it overhead at full extension doesn't turn into an arm workout halfway down the second side.
Chenille holds the water
Chenille is a looped microfibre pile, and those loops carry a lot of soapy water, which is what actually does the cleaning. A half-loaded head drags dirt across the panel; a saturated one floats it off. Because both heads swivel, the pile stays flat against the surface as the brush moves from a flat bonnet onto a curved guard. At 22 x 28 cm it covers a bonnet in a handful of passes.
Key features
- Extends 50-115 cm: roof and screen within reach from the ground on most utes and wagons.
- Twin 360-degree swivel heads: the pile follows curved guards instead of riding on one edge.
- Chenille microfibre pile: carries enough soapy water to float dirt off rather than scrub at it.
- Detachable heads: pull them off to rinse grit out and dry them properly.

Keeping grit out of the pile
- Rinse the heads before the first pass, and again any time one lands on the driveway. Trapped grit is what marks paint, not the pile itself.
- The supplier publishes no scratch test, so wash top down with plenty of water and leave heavily gritted lower panels until last.
- Detach the heads afterwards, rinse them through and let them dry rather than leaving them damp on the tube.
A wash that reaches the roof is the difference between a clean car and a car that's clean where you could reach.
