No charge controller is described, and that matters

Nothing in the parts list or the specifications is a regulator. A 21 V panel wired straight onto a 12 V lead-acid or AGM battery has nothing between the two deciding when to stop, and across a run of bright days that can drive the battery past its gassing voltage, boil off electrolyte and cut its life short. If this is going onto a battery rather than a USB device, budget for a small solar regulator alongside it. The supplier also states the panel has no power storage function, so it works only while sun is falling on it.

Before you connect it

• No regulator is included or described. Running a 21 V panel directly into a battery across a long sunny stretch risks overcharging it, and that is on the buyer to prevent.

• Watch polarity when using the clip. Reversing it can damage the panel, the battery, or whatever else shares that circuit.
