Older utes, imports and anything on oversized tyres leave you guessing at real road speed, and a dim factory cluster does not help. This head-up display sits on the dash and takes its speed from satellites rather than the vehicle.

Satellite fix from two constellations

The unit receives from both GPS and BeiDou through a dual-channel module, giving it more satellites to work with than a single-system receiver. Speed sits in your lower field of view, switchable between km/h and mph, alternating automatically with a satellite clock that sets itself rather than drifting.

Reads its own light and its own power

A built-in light sensor matches screen brightness to conditions: readable through a sunlit windscreen, soft enough at night not to sit in your vision as a white block. Power runs over Type-C across 5–24 V DC, covering 12 V cars and 24 V trucks, and synchronises with ignition so the unit wakes and sleeps with the engine. One button cycles the functions.

Before you mount it

• Two models are sold, one with the fatigue alert, one with compass and speed alarm. The supplier describes the functions together, so pick the variant naming what you want.
• The optical sensor sits on top and must stay uncovered, or auto brightness stops working.
• Mount it clear of your view of the road; it is an aid, not a replacement for the vehicle's instruments.
